E-WIS together with IBM international organized the “Step Up”, get together and technical session for their Kandy customers. This took place recently at Earls Regency, Kandy.

The theme Step Up depicts the idea of stepping up to the next level of success with E-WIS expertise and IBM technology. This was the first time that IBM presented itself at regional level with technical knowledge sharing.

Rajesh Viliyakath, Brand Manager - System x and Blade Servers (India/ South Asia) conducted the technical session. Demo zones at the venue allowed customers to experience the system x and blade centre technology.

Mr. Sanjeewa Wickramanayake, Chairman E-WIS group and Mr. Charitha Wijayawardena, Country Manager, IBM-Sri Lanka spoke on the strengths and benefits of E-WIS and IBM synergic relationship which spans for more than 22 years. They also spoke about the value added services provided to customers through the premier partnership status enjoyed by EWIS.

Country’s most versatile ICT Company; E-WIS became the first IBM business partner of Sri Lanka and also it is the first and the only IBM Premier Business partner in Sri Lanka.

With the success in -Kandy, E-WIS and IBM are planning to take “Step Up” to regions such as Kurunegala and Galle in the near future.
